Reviews
Camille Pissarro was one of my top 10 favorite artists, but after reading several books about him, his work, his wife and children as well as his struggles, he's now my #1 favorite. Comparing Irving Stone's book to other 'more studious readings,' I like this one by far because it reads as a novel and not so much as a biographical account. It's also obvious that Mr. Stone kept close to the facts while still adding a bit of character to Pissarro and those people in his life. I definitely recommend this book.
