There is WAAAY too much black in most of the images. This seems to be a constant with Jade Summer. I would like to suggest that she leave out her black touches that fill up large portions of the page, and allow the colorist to add black when he/she feels it is needed. Most colorists have a black marker, or gel pen...and I would imagine that a LOT of them also have a Micron pen in the arsenal of supplies for coloring. I do not enjoy coloring this book, and I have Kickass Cats as well, and I doubt that coloring it will be much different. I will not buy any more Jade Summer books.She has some interesting designs and if she would leave them alone once the initial image is there, her books would be great.
